When would you cancel a tour?

 

 

We’ll let you know at least 24 hours in advance if a tour needs to be cancelled.

New Zealand weather can be unpredictable, but we keep a close eye on the forecast and will always communicate early.

 

 

 

Do you offer a lunch option?

 

 

Yes — we can arrange lunch for groups by prior arrangement.

When is the best time to visit?

 

 

Any time of year offers something a little different.

If you’re hoping to see and feed lambs, late winter and early spring are the best times — but there are always animals and plenty happening on the farm year-round.

 

 

 

What should I wear?

 

 

We recommend sturdy footwear and dressing for the weather — especially in winter and spring.

Disposable shoe covers are available if needed.

 

 

 

Can I drink alcohol or smoke on the farm?

 

 

We operate a no alcohol and no smoking policy during tours.

For safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is intoxicated or does not follow this policy.

 

 

 

Can I take photos or videos?

 

 

You’re very welcome to take photos and videos for personal use.

We just ask that images are not used for commercial purposes without permission.

 

Do I need to know anything before arriving?

 

 

Your visit begins with a short safety briefing, and we’ll guide you throughout the experience.

As this is a working farm, we ask that you follow instructions at all times to ensure everyone’s safety.

Is this suitable for children?

 

 

Yes — families are very welcome. Kids especially love feeding lambs and seeing the dogs work.

Children should be supervised at all times, as this is a working farm.

 

 

 

How physical is the tour?

 

 

The tour is relaxed and at an easy pace, but you will be walking around farm areas and yards.

Comfortable footwear is recommended.

 

 

 

What happens if it rains?

 

 

Tours run in most weather conditions — that’s part of real farm life.

We’ll adjust where needed, and there’s always plenty to see and do.
