We understand that things happen and are happy to work with you to find an alternative date for your tour. If this isn't possible, 48 hours notice is required to be entitled to a refund. Within the 48 hour period, 100% cancellation policy applies. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a booked tour, at least 24 hours notice will be given and a full refund will be given if an alternative date can't be found. The weather in NZ can be unpredictable, but we keep a close eye on the forecast and will communicate as early as we can on any required changes. Most tours will still run in the rain and we will adjust where needed.

The farm tour runs for approximately 2 hours.

We are located in Woodbury which is 10 minutes from Geraldine, approximately 2 hours from Christchurch International Airport and 1 hour 15 minutes from Lake Tekapo.

We recommend sturdy footwear and dressing for changes in the weather - especially in the winter and spring. Disposable shoe covers are available if needed.

Yes, bookings are essential. Bookings close 24 hours prior to tour starting time.

We keep the group sizes small so the experience stays personal and relaxed for everyone.

Our farm tours operate all year, and each season offers something different on the farm. If you are hoping to see and feed lambs, late winter and early spring are the best times to visit, but we always have animals to interact with and plenty happening on the farm all year round.

We operate a no alcohol or smoking policy during tours. For safety reasons we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is intoxicated or does not follow this policy.

You are welcome to take photos and videos during the tours for personal use. Please do not use footage for commercial purposes without prior approval. Please email us on info@geraldinefarmtours.com to approval. We welcome media and trade famils onto the farm. Please get in touch to discuss your visit.

Your visit begins with a short safety briefing and we'll guide you throughout the experience. As this is a working farm, we ask that you follow instructions from our staff at all times.

Yes, families are very welcome. Kids especially love feeding the lambs and seeing the working dogs. Children need to be supervised at all times.

The tour is relaxed and done at an easy pace. A small amount of walking is required around the farm and yards. Comfortable footwear is recommended.
